Training and Certification

"To ensure a high degree of expertise and knowledge in those representing Clearswift, we require certification of the technical and sales staff members of partner organizations according to specific criteria. Clearswift provides training courses to help Partners gain the required certification for their Partner level. Each Partner level has differing certification requirements which must be maintained in order to retain that level and the discounts and benefits it holds."

Industry Recognition - By becoming MIMEsweeper certified, you will achieve industry recognition for your ability to install, configure, implement and troubleshoot Clearswift’s products and technologies. Certification provides you with the technical expertise needed to solve your customers' problems. This increases customer satisfaction and helps solidify your reputation as a content security expert.

The program for Cleaswift CMEs is designed for security professionals with comprehensive knowledge and skill in installing and configuring enterprise security systems that use Clearswift’s products. This security professional will also have a basic understanding of security administration tasks.

Clearswift must be the product and vendor of choice for both e-mail & Web security solutions

Postsales support to End user
Regional Partners Trained technical support staff must be able and availabale to provide both level 1 and level 2 support to end users as well as sell Clearswift Direct support

Not for Resale (NFR) Licenses Availibility
Partners must be able to make available hardware, software and VMWare licenses to end users for the purposes of familiarization or demonstration only

Demo Licenses Availability
Partners may purchase certain appliance units for internal demo centers, external demo (tradeshows), internal support centers and internal training

Internal Licenses Availability
Licenses for Partner internal use only (with applicable discount)

Partners must have links from their website to the Clearswift website to enable end users to access the latest Clearswift information and updates

Annual Business Plan
Partners are required to provide a quarterly business plan to include agreed revenue targets by product per quarter. The plan will be reviewed with the relevant Clearswift Regional Partner Manager.

Reporting
Partners will be required to supply monthly sales forecasts and incident reporting

Marketing
A quarterly marketing plan will be required Marketing Development Funds (MDF) will be made available, based upon an agreed % of license billings and can be requested via the local Regional Marketing.
